It just feels good to post a beach wedding because that means summer's almost here! Kristen and Sean had a blast. Some of our favorite moments were the first look on the beach and of course the grandparents playing the role of "flower girls" during the procession. Cheers!
Super grateful to have had the chance to shoot weddings for all three Glass siblings, with Michael following Carley and Maryanne. Deanna and Michael lucked out huge with the weather, as the rain held off for the ceremony and most of cocktail hour. Gotta love the first look up on the balcony and the couches down in front for the VIPs at the ceremony.
Becky & Eddy had a fantastic day for their wedding. You can't ask for more
than an overcast day with no rain, in the low 70's, nice and comfortable
for everyone! We loved being on hand at Queen of Peace Church (which is
absolutely beautiful!) and at the one and only Manor House at Prophecy Creek in Ambler!
Nicole Leigh Photography set up some absolutely amazing shots that you'll see in the
highlight video, and CTO Park Central kept the crowd partying all night long. It was a blast!
If we had to sum up Alyssa & Chris' special day in one word, it would be this...ENERGY. As anyone who knows them will tell you, Alyssa is non-stop in the best possible way, and Chris has his own energy that compliments her perfectly. The whole day was such a blast, and we're so happy to have been there to capture it. They managed to find the rainbow of a day after about a week straight of rain, and it couldn't have been nicer! The Old Mill provided a beautiful backdrop (as usual) for the ceremony, and from then on the party never stopped. Congratulations Alyssa & Chris Sihelnik!
Katie and Frank had incredible weather for their Center City Philadelphia wedding. They got ready at Hotel Monaco, one of our favorite prep spots, and both the ceremony and reception were held at the Down Town Club, one of our favorite venues. Masquerade (masquerade.com) always keeps the dance floor packed and this night was no exception. Wedding days don’t get any better than this!
We loved being on hand to capture Dana and Franny’s big day! They exchanged
their vows at the beautiful St. Tomothy’s church, and even had time for a
little friendly gambling beforehand! They took advantage of a beautiful
(albeit, a little chilly) day in the city for pictures with Carly K
Photography, who we’ve had the pleasure of working with a few times before.
After that, it was time to strut on in to the Cescaphe Ballroom with The
Shooting Stars and friends, for a good time and good drinks! We want to
wish Dana and Franny the best, congratulations!
Such a cool story here. These two were neighbors but never spoke until Josh offered to dig out Carlye's car during a snow storm. They got quite a surprise the week before the wedding when they found out that there was a fire at the Drexelbrook, their original venue. Fortunately, the Springfield Country Club had the space to host the wedding, and the team there worked together with the staff of the Drexelbrook to create a perfect event for Carlye, Josh, their families and friends.
It's always such an honor to work for a sibling of one of our past brides or grooms. That was the case when we shot for Samantha. Her and Chris were awesome, though they'll admit that the star of the show was their beautiful daughter. When she came down the aisle in a wagon, dad got all teary. Crying grooms are always great for video! It was wonderful working with Perfect Day Photography, who we've known for about 15 years, as well as JSW Entertainment, as Joe Vespe kept the crowd going all night. I guess the only thing that didn't go right for Chris all night was when he got smashed in the face with cake, though everyone else seemed to enjoy it (including us)! Congrats Samantha and Chris.
In this episode, Pat gives 5 reasons why you need a wedding video.
How can you possibly choose a photographer from the seemingly endless sea of options? As Pat's guest John Barone tells us, start with a beer.
